Peter Kang On Taking Others’ Advice Without Understanding It

Peter Kang is a cofounder at Barrel—a successful digital agency business—and a leader I’ve admired for many years for both his success and for sharing openly on his blog, teaching other business owners like me through hard-won lessons and advice.

That said, I enjoyed an essay he wrote about the dangers of blindly following others’ advice: Following Other People’s Advice.

What works for Peter & Barrel might not directly apply to my business and style of leadership. Good prompt for self-reflection on why a principle might work in a different context from its origin.

(For the WordPress theme geeks: Peter’s personal website theme is a gorgeous one named “Cocoa” by Elmastudio.)
